South Pacific Airlines was an airline in 2006 film Snakes on a Plane. The aircraft livery is most likely based on Singapore airlines. South Pacific is known for the incident in 2006 were crime boss Eddie Kim smuggles a crate full of snakes onto a Boeing 747-400 bound for LAX from Hawaii. The captain is killed, while the co-pilot believes he had a heart attack and continues flying. Soon snakes enter the passenger cabin and begin killing passengers. In the end the snakes are sucked out, though the plane was most likely written off after that because it was almost completely wrecked after those events.
