Apollo Airways is a fictional airline in Bioshock . It was seen to be operating since the 1950s. n 1960, Apollo Airways suffered a tragedy, the loss of flight DF-0301 over the Atlantic Ocean. The plane, en route from San Francisco to London, carrying eighty-nine passengers and six crew, was hijacked at (63° 2' N, 29° 55' W). The sole survivor of the plane's crash into the North Atlantic was Jack Wynand. it is based off of Pan American airways. It was named after the Apollo space program. It is also revealed that it stayed in business until 1994, but like pan am, it may have went out of business in 1998.
